Results of a prospective randomized trial concerning adhesion prevention after resection of deep infiltrating endometriosis have been published in Langenbeck’s Archives of Surgery.

A team from the university clinic in Tübingen compared efficacy of 4DryField and sodium chloride solution in 50 patients.

During the obligatory follow-up interventions adhesion development could be scored directly. Thereby it could be asserted that incidence as well as extent and severity were statistically significantly reduced in the 4DryField group. The total adhesion score could be reduced by 85% through 4DryField application.
